Biography:
Ms. Jones was licensed by the State of Texas in 1993. She is admitted in the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas. She was also licensed by the State of Louisiana in 1998 (currently inactive). In her fifteen years of experience, her practice has included civil litigation including, but not limited to, employment law, real estate law, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation. Prior to her licensure by the State Bar of Texas, she served as the chief law clerk for the Honorable Carolyn Garcia. Her duties included research, briefing, and making recommendations to the court regarding pending motions. She also supervised and assisted junior law clerks. Ms. Jones graduated from the South Texas College of Law in 1993. She was awarded the Order of the Lytae and also the American Jurisprudence Award in her evidence course. She also made the Dean’s List in Spring & Fall 1991, Spring 1992, and Spring 1993. Ms. Jones graduated in the top 20% in her class.
