Biography:
Ms. Lopez graduated from The University of Houston in 1994 with a degree in Economics. Following that, she received her AIC designation in 1994. While an adjuster, Ms. Lopez worked for a major insurer. Ms. Lopez’s responsibility while employed was a claims representative for six years, a Claim Team Manager for 1 1/2 year, and a Litigation Team Manager for one year. Ms Lopez was then assigned as a Contract Litigation Manager by the insurer for the South Texas Region for three years. Ms. Lopez also includes in her legal career, work for an insurance defense firm where she was able to apply her extensive knowledge of the insurance claims industry and Juris Doctorate degree. Ms. Lopez attained her Law Degree from South Texas College of Law in May 2000. She was admitted to the practice of Law in the State of Texas in November 2000. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S.District Court, Southern District of Texas.
