Caroline Horstmann is a 2007 graduate of the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law, where she obtained the dual degree of Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Civil Laws. She graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004, with B.A.s in International Studies and History, with distinction. She has been admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana since 2007 and is awaiting admission in the State of Texas. Her experience includes insurance defense of both first and third party claims; maritime personal injury, including the Jones Act; subrogation; workers’ compensation; construction defect; contractual indemnity; and general liability and casualty. Her past experience includes clerking for a Federal Magistrate in Gulfport, Mississippi and a Louisiana State Court of Appeals Judge. In 2014, Caroline was named a Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Star in the areas of Personal Injury Defense and Insurance Defense.
