TMF & Associates, PLLC is located in The Woodlands, Texas, which is in the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. Although located in the Houston area, TMF & Associates, PLLC provides service throughout the State of Texas — from the upper and lower Gulf Coast Bend, inland to Dallas, Austin, and Bexar Counties and to all counties in between.

Managing Member

Thomas Martin Fountain

Attorney, Managing Member

Thomas Fountain received his Liberal Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976 and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1980. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has served on several State Bar of Texas committees evaluating Texas Pattern Jury Charges.

Thomas is a member of the State Bar of Texas Sections on Litigation, Insurance, and Aviation. He earned a rating of AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell®, which reflects the highest rating for ability and ethics. Mr. Fountain is a member in good standing of the Houston and Montgomery County Bar Associations, and is a Fellow of the Houston Bar Association.

He has authored and presented speeches on subjects such as Breach of the Duty of Good Faith and Fair Dealing.

Joshua Selvidge

Attorney

Joshua Selvidge, a Houston native, served as an infantryman and paratrooper in the U.S. Army, where he gained leadership training and combat experience, including a tour in Afghanistan. After his honorable discharge at the rank of Sergeant, he pursued a B.A. in Journalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

A class on Journalism and the Law inspired him to shift toward a legal career. Following his graduation in 2018, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 2021 and is admitted to practice in Texas.

Joshua's legal practice focuses on first-party and third-party insurance claims, defending insurance companies, homeowners, and construction contractors.

Chief Operating Officer

Arisai (Ari) Sliva

Chief Operating Officer | Law Clerk (Foreign-Trained Attorney)

Arisai R. Sliva serves as Chief Operating Officer, leading the firm's strategic and operational functions while also supporting attorneys in a law clerk capacity. She integrates executive leadership with hands-on legal support to ensure alignment between firm strategy, legal execution, and client service.

As COO, she oversees finance, HR, compliance, technology, billing, and daily operations, driving efficiency, scalability, and profitability. She manages budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, and workflow optimization, while ensuring compliance with client and carrier requirements.

In her legal support role, Ms. Sliva assists with research, drafting, discovery, and case preparation under attorney supervision, contributing to litigation strategy and execution.

A foreign-trained attorney, she holds two LL.M. degrees from the University of Houston Law Center and is bilingual in English and Spanish, bringing a multidisciplinary background in legal operations, litigation support, and business management.

Legal Assistant

Montana Bevil is a Houston-based Legal Assistant with experience in case support, document preparation, scheduling, and client communication. Backed by a professional background in administration, logistics, retail operations, and customer service, she brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.

Montana is focused on continuing to grow her career in the legal field and providing efficient, professional support to the attorneys and clients of TMF & Associates.

Courtney M. Morales

Paralegal

Courtney M. Morales is a Houston-based paralegal with a background in communication and experience supporting civil litigation matters. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Houston–Downtown, graduating summa cum laude, where she developed strong analytical and writing skills that support her work in the legal field.

Courtney assists attorneys with legal research, discovery, and trial preparation, and is known for her attention to detail and organization. She is currently pursuing her Paralegal Studies certification through an ABA-approved program at Lone Star College–North Harris and is a commissioned Texas Notary Public.
